When is a letterhead not a letterhead? When it’s a paper plane! Sometimes it’s the simple things that develop the best promotions.
Paper planes from letterhead
As a sponsor of the football team, the marketing director of a holiday company wanted to develop something that would involve the entire crowd at a live game, while promoting their brand. He briefed the creative team and they delivered with a simple A4 letterhead. How? The A4 piece of paper bearing the company logo was handed out on entry and at half-time the audience was encouraged to fold it into a paper plane. A throwing competition on the field with selected fans followed, with thousands of football supporters in the stadium and watching at home being exposed to the sponsor’s company name. Isn’t it amazing what a simple A4 letterhead can do when it’s used creatively? |
