  What is Metalix?
Metalix uses a silver Pantone underneath transparent CMYK inks. The transparent CMYK inks combine with metallic silver to create a complete range of metallic colours.
Metalix needs to be introduced at the design stage as a fifth colour. We then output the five plates, printing the silver first and CMYK over the top. As a designer you can offer your clients the impact and prestige of metallic colours at a price comparable to normal CMYK printing.

How does this effect me as a designer?
With Metalix you can now create eye-catching designs by integrating metallic colours into photos and logos using only one spot colour. Hundreds of metallic colours can now be achieved for an affordable price. Metalix can produce inspiring and economical designs for your customers.
