Why You Should use Branded labels

Branded labels for your products might be the last thing on your mind, but we’re here to tell you why they shouldn’t be! Branded labels have a tonne of benefits whether you’re posting products, giving out samples, or selling items in-store.

Brand recognition

Brand identity and recognition are super important, so it makes sense to brand as many of your products as you can, but depending on your product line and industry this may be easier said than done.

When personalising your product is out of the question, it’s especially important to pop them in branded packaging, otherwise they could have come from anywhere! Brand recognition is a key part of establishing and growing a business, so no matter what stage you’re at, it’s important to showcase your logo at every opportunity.

Professionalism

A beautifully designed logo and label shows your customer how polished and professional your brand is. The difference between appearing to be a startup or a professional is all in the details, and branded labels are just one of those features that make all the difference. This is also where well thought out design comes into play - it’s super important that your label is well-designed, free from any errors, and high quality.

Brand Quality

A uniform brand will boost the perceived quality of your brand, and who doesn’t want that!? A professional brand that is consistent across all of your collateral and promotional material will ensure your customers are seeing your business as high quality and polished. Branding is becoming more important year on year, so the best time to polish your brand is now!

Cheap advertising

Wherever your label is, your brand will go too. Adding branded labels to your products or packaging opens your brand up to be viewed by a wide range of people including potential customers, who may not have seen it otherwise.

Add your details

A label gives you the space to add all of your important brand information. Think of it as a business card, and be sure to include your website, email address, social media links, phone number, and information about reordering. You should take advantage of every piece of collateral or material you produce by adding all the information a customer would need to find you again.

Product information

This is of course is one of the most popular, practical, and classic uses of product labels, but you can make it more fun with a bit of creativity! Maybe there’s a fun fact about the product that you could share, or ideas on ways your customers can use it. It’s also a great place for any instructions or legally-required information. Advertise a promotion

Perhaps you have some products that stay permanently low in price, or a bulk-buy special - this is the perfect place to advertise! Putting your promotions on a label means they will stick around for a while, and be in the hands of your existing customers. Our only word of warning is to do this with products you know are going to stay the same price for a while, as if prices change, there is a risk that labels with the old prices are still floating around.

We recommend paper stickers for budget conscious clients or for use on short term products. If you need something longer lasting, we suggest going with a vinyl which is water and tear resistant and perfect for items that might come in contact with liquid, spills or dribbles.
